Pooja Batra : Biography
Beautiful and talented are the two words that best describe Pooja Batra. She was born on October 26th 1974 in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh. Her mother Neelam Batra was a participant in Miss India-1971. It was the year Vani Ganapathy (Kamal Hasan's first wife) won. Pooja's father was a colonel in the army and their family was always on the move and she got a chance to study in different schools. This Liril girl's Favourite star is "Brad Pitt" and she likes to do the Netsurfing, reading and watching films. Talking of films, Pooja admits that her film career didn't go the way it should have. Despite making her debut in a movie like Viraasat, Pooja could not make her place in the industry. The she done many films, but it was not taste success. Right now, the actress is awaiting the release of Akbar Khan's Taj Mahal - An Eternal Love Story and hasn't signed anything else. She is playing a role of Noor Jehan even though it's a supporting role. Though she will be very busy with modeling assignments, walking the ramp in Europe & US.
