Rahul Vaidya was an Indian reality TV contestant who finished third on the first season of Indian Idol. A peoples' favourite, he was tipped to win until his defeat in the second-to-last round, on February 18, 2005. Eight months later he released his debut album Tera Intezar. He has sung the song "Hello Madam, I am your Adam" along with third runner-up on Indian Idol Prajakta Shukre and "God Promise Dil Dola" with Shreya Ghoshal in Bollywood film Shaadi No. 1.
